Ayia Napa is situated on the south east coast of Cyprus. It was once a tiny fishing village which has transformed itself into being famous for its glamorous beaches and vibrant nightlife. It is known as a party capital, but does also cater for families, with great weather all year round the main attraction is to soak up the sun on the glorious Mediterranean beaches, lapped with calm blue waters.
There are plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained but the beaches are one of the focal points of this town, being some of the best in the Mediterranean. The popular Nissi Beach is found at Ayia Napa's harbour and has busy tavernas, serving delicious freshly caught seafood. Futher along the rugged coastline there are a number of beautiful bays and coves to explore. For those looking for an alternative to the beaches there is Cypriot history and heritage to discover at the Ayia Napa Monastery and the Makronissos Tombs.
